We conduct a range of specialist services to support tree health and longevity for clients throughout Maitland, Newcastle, and the Central Coast
As we produce the mulch ourselves, we are able to supply mulch – fresh and aged – at the most competitive prices. Delivery available – we can also apply the mulch on request. We travel to all areas of the Hunter Valley, Maitland, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast to conduct this work.
We select specific fertilisers and apply these using the most appropriate method to suit the needs of the tree. We can conduct vertical mulching, tree injections, and all kinds of specialist nutrient applications. We apply either organic or inorganic fertilisers and can evaluate the benefits to the tree where necessary.
Root pruning is a specialised service and you should be assured the arborist is able to perform it correctly. If done incorrectly it can be devastating to the health and/or stability of the tree. Our arborists ensure your tree is kept safe when performing this delicate procedure.
Root barriers can deflect the roots of trees that would otherwise end up under your slab or ruining your retaining wall. These barriers can be installed to a depth of approximately 1.5 metres, or more if required. If you need root barrier installed, talk to one of our arborists. We have conducted root barrier installations all over Newcastle and Maitland.
Cabling, Bracing and Propping
Bracing is often used when issues arise in trees with high value or significance, or can be utilised as part of a long-term pruning plan. The tree may have a structural defect or other health issue which requires bracing to prolong the useful life of the tree. Cables are installed between key limbs within the canopy to spread and transfer loads to stronger parts of the tree. Bracing can last as long as 10-15 years. We use only the best materials and most current installation for all our tree support systems. We have installed cables all over the Hunter Valley, Maitland, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.
Habitat installations are used to attract wildlife to your garden. We have worked with clients to install artificial habitats that blend into the surroundings and can provide permanent homes for the animals you want to have around. We can make habitats in dead trees which otherwise have little habitat value.
